Walibi Holland and RMC reveal the name for the new duelling single rail coaster: YoY

YoY will be the name of Walibi Holland’s new duelling single rail RMC. On the 24th of September, Walibi Holland revealed the name for their new duelling single rail coaster during a press conference on IAAPA. The new addition opening in 2025 will feature both a “family friendly” side and a more “thrilling” side. Construction has been progressing rapidly with both sides their layout becoming more and more visible.

Palindrome

The word YoY is a palindrome, this is a word that you can read both forwards and backwards. The tagline for the ride being: Ride the other side. Although the name is spelled YoY, you say Joy. This name is rather unique, with no other coaster bearing this name.

The logo itself incorporates this palindrome effect, using both the green and blue colour schemes of the track in it.

Unique

Walibi Holland states that YoY will be an unique coaster in Europe with it being Europe’s first single rail RMC coaster. The duelling effect is also quite unique as no other single rail coaster in the world duels.

YoY will not be the first single rail coaster in Europe, as Walibi Rhône-Alpes opened their Intamin Hot Racer earlier this year.
