Liseberg announces Kraftverket for the 2025 season

The new ride, which is expected to open in the spring of 2025, will be a next generation Huss Breakdance 5 model. This ride being the latest evolution in Huss’ breakdance collection. This will only be the second installation of this model, with the first one being located at Wiener Prater in Austria.

“This ride, of the "Break Dance 5" model, represents the absolute latest in attraction innovation—it has only been a few months since the prototype debuted at Prater in Vienna”, says Mirko Schulze, CEO Huss Park Attractions GmbH.

Kraftverket will be located inside a helix of Valkyria? The placement of the ride was carefully chosen by the park to save space and ramp up the excitement. Liseberg is a landlocked park that is located within the city of Gothenburg, which makes every plot of land inside the park valuable.

The ride's name, Kraftverket, is Swedish for ‘the power house’. This name ties in with the theming and the ride experience. 

Kraftverket has been in the planning stages since 2016, when Valkyria was constructed. This ties in with other longstanding development plans for the southern part of Liseberg.
